The ERS Hub connects the electrification community. Through an integrated digital platform that gives inclusive access to training, development, and jobs nationwide, The Hub and Coventry University, in collaboration with UK Research and Innovation and the Driving the Electric Revolution challenge, are committed to helping energise and grow the community so that it can meet the challenges of the future.
This two-day conference will also feature the official launch of the Hub digital platform. As part of the event’s agenda, winners of the Innovate UK Driving the Electric Revolution (DER) "Building talent for the Future" competition will present updates and progress alongside discussions of the new PEMD Body of Knowledge and workshops on topics varying from greener futures, emerging technologies, and approaches to quantifying and mitigating the skills gap.
The upcoming conference will feature keynotes from Florbela Costa, Head of Engineering at Parvalux and British racing driver Charlie Martin. Florbela will open the conference and share her experiences working with NASA to put DC motors on Mars Rovers. Along with many other exciting talks, both Hewland Engineering and Jaguar Land Rover will be discussing their latest electric technology.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference
