Council launches updated Creative Framework to support creative sector growth
Warwick District Council is excited to announce the launch of the refreshed and updated Warwick District Creative Framework, developed with input from over 100 local stakeholders from the creative sector.
The Creative Framework is a five-year strategy designed to boost the growth of the creative sector and maximise its impact across Warwick District. It offers a shared vision to unite the area’s creative communities and outlines how the sector can evolve and thrive through collaboration and partnership working.
The updated framework now features examples of how organisations across the district are addressing shared priorities, along with highlighting some of the incredible organisations that make Warwick District such a vibrant and inspiring place to live, work, and visit.
Paul Roberts, Arts Manager at Warwick District Council, said:
“Warwick District is a vibrant tapestry of creativity, where arts, culture, and innovation come together. From our rich heritage to cutting-edge digital design, our creative sector is not just a key driver of economic growth but a reflection of the unique spirit and talent that defines our community.”
The Council played a key role in coordinating the document, which is designed as a valuable resource for:
- Individuals and organisations wanting to explore and engage with the district’s creative community.
- Advocacy efforts, including funding bids, recruitment packs, and promoting the creative sector.
The Warwick District Creative Framework is now available to download from the Warwick District Council website or to view online via ISSUU. Hard copies will also be available at the Council’s annual creative sector event, Spark Lite, on Friday 14 February 2025, at the Royal Spa Centre, Leamington.
This event is free to attend and will feature opportunities for networking, sharing ideas, and learning more about the district’s creative community. Find out more and book your ticket.
