COMMONWEALTH GAMES UNIFORM WIN FOR INCORPORATEWEAR
Coleshill-based Incorporatewear has been appointed to supply uniforms to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games workforce.
Following a competitive tender process, the company will also be responsible for delivering the uniform for technical officials, for batonbearers during the Queen's Baton Relay as it travels through the UK, and for the 13,000 Commonwealth Collective volunteers.
The official uniform design is expected to visually unite the Birmingham 2022 workforce so they are easily identifiable. It will also incorporate the look and vision of the Games brand, while reflecting the history, heritage and diversity of Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Incorporatewear will strive to achieve 'zero waste to landfill' for all Games products. while the business has also committed to support and create opportunities for local people and businesses.
Incorporatewear managing director Ed Grigg said: "We are extremely proud to have been awarded this contract.
