Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) Funding Round 4 (New Applicants only) - applications are now open
Additional Restrictions Grant Round 4 (New Applicants) funding application window now open for businesses
Round 4 (New Applicants) of the Additional Restrictions Grant funding has opened to Coventry businesses who have not yet applied for ARG support.
The grant aims to support local businesses that were affected by the national lockdowns. It is aimed at business rate payers who were not forced to close but suffered a significant loss in income, or non-business rate payers who suffered a loss in income.
This also covers those in cultural and creative sectors, homeworkers, self-employed, freelancers and those in independently-owned manufacturing businesses.
Councillor Jim O’Boyle, cabinet member for jobs and regeneration, said: “It has been an incredibly difficult time for lots of businesses during the pandemic and the impact on them has been huge.
“Whilst we have offered other funding grants to businesses in the past, these grants don’t cover all businesses and we want to make sure that Coventry businesses can get support if they need it.”
The Additional Restriction Grant scheme will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and applications must be submitted by Friday 10 September.
